Expanding My English Vocabulary (5 New Words)

I am learning and posting to improve my English vocabulary and share useful words with others who are on the same journey. Expanding your vocabulary can make a big difference in how confidently you communicate and understand new ideas. Here are 5 interesting words I learned today:

1. Alleviate

Part of Speech: Verb
Definition: To make suffering, a problem, or a condition less severe.
Example: The medication helped alleviate the patient’s pain after surgery.

2. Amalgamate

5. Ameliorate

Definition: To make a bad or unpleasant situation better.
Example: New policies were introduced to ameliorate working conditions for employees.
